Thanks to everyone who responded to my question. The problem is solved. I
needed to resize my receive startup menu window because the GRITTY path
fell off the bottom. As simple as that. Make sure your window is tall
enough, select GRITTY, enter the path at the bottom and away you go. For use
follow the instructions below.
It works.

Ken,
In the RX window setup, you have to first select the GRITTY window type
at the top. That should enable the GRITTY Setup path box at the bottom
of the window. After selecting the path, click on Save. The RX window
should close and re-open - if it doesn't, close it and re-open it manually.
DO NOT put the path to Gritty in the MMTTY setup the way you do with
2Tone. 2Tone is written as a direct plug-in replacement for MMTTY and
uses the same interface with the main program, so you can use it as a
direct substitute for MMTTY, but Gritty uses a completely different
interface method and cannot be invoked the same way as MMTTY.
When you are using Gritty, you do not click in the additional RX window
the way you do with the other digital engines. Instead, you have to
click on call signs in the Gritty window. I'm not sure whether clicking
on exchanges works yet - the only things I've been able to click on
successfully are call signs.
I will be documenting Gritty in the N1MM Logger+ manual once I get it
working properly here - I've been having various teething problems with it.
