You can't reason with Politicians and sadly the ARRL is just another
political body. Their goals and profit may or may not line up with
ours. They think they have all the clout and flex their muscles all the
time.

I guess when K1ZZ said all we need to do was "spin the knob" doesn't
apply in this case. We currently have modes in
use on the ham bands where the user can't be easily identified or even
decoded for content and now ARRL is worried
about the same thing from Mitre??? I'm confused.
