Thank you. It would appear that PACTOR III was introduced in May of
2002. There is no record of how quickly it moved from commercial to
amateur service but we do know that it was causing enough interference
to other users that by 2008 there had been at least one petition asking
that the Commission impose the bandwidth limit set by the twin 300
baud and 1000 Hz shift limits on FSK to all HF data emissions.
