Subject: [RTTY] Test: bouncing? dumped?

So here's the deal: Email servers send out rules to other servers on how to
validate emails sent by them.

yahoo.com, hotmail.com, and comcast.net and others recently changed their
rules. They are now saying to other servers that if the email address
domain does not match the sending domain, those servers should reject those
emails.

So because your email address domain (e.g. yahoo.com) does not match the
sending domain (e.g. contesting.com) a whole bunch of servers are bouncing
your reflector emails. And the reflectors are unsubscribing you because of
too many bounces.

Other receiving servers - like gmail.com - are not bouncing the message but
they are flagging them as spam. So you may look into your spam folder right
now and see a whole bunch of valid emails from yahoo.com and company.

For example, the email I just got from
n6hpx_du1@yahoo.com<javascript:_e(%7B%7D,'cvml','n6hpx_du1@yahoo.com');>has
the following warning attached to it from the gmail server:

"Be careful with this message. Our systems couldn't verify that this
message was really sent by yahoo.com. You might want to avoid clicking
links or replying with personal information. Learn more..."

I don't know of an answer right now other that to advise you to find
another email host if you are on one of these servers like yahoo.com. And
for the rest of us to watch our spam folders.

Here are the technical details:
