Very good reasons to just work them again. Maybe his log is wrong, maybe my
log is wrong but it doesn't matter. Any dupes just get binned when the log
is scored, without any penalties. It also keeps the rhythm going and saves
time.
CQWW attracts lots of new RTTY contest ops so a few will send the report
first, send your call 3 times and the state once and generally do things
'wrong'. Treat them kindly .. they all count and as Phil says they will soon
learn.

Subject: Re: [RTTY] B4 - another angle to it
Hi all,
There is another angle to this B4 message:
I have been on both sides of this issue, and this is my take on why it is
sometimes necessary to re-work a station.
For example, in CQWW last weekend, Writelog highlighted only part of the
call, such as E7/YT3H. I had clicked on the call, and worked, YT3H, but
then realised my mistake and corrected it.
If I had not done so, I may have later seen the FULL call, and tried to
work him again.
On the other side, I had someone call me during a busy time, but later
realised he had sent GU0SUV instead of my proper call. He could easily
have tried to work GU0SUP later, but I caught it in time and managed to
get him to correct my call.
Sometimes, when you get a call wrong when running a pile-up, the caller
can't always get you to notice his correction.
There were also lots of calls new to me in this contest, some of which
were probably contest calls being used by experienced RTTY ops, but some
were clearly new to the game, and weren't sure of the way things go, and a
few made a mess of the exchanges, but hopefully they learned during the
time they spent in the contest.
