if you are using the mic jack, you need to have the rig in LSB not RTTY.
RTTY mode requires you to use FSK, which is more desirable. There are lots
of FSK circuits on the net. Here is one of them:

Subject: [RTTY] IC-751A and SignaLink USB

Hi

I am having no success getting my '751A to transmit in either PSK or RTTY
using MMTTY and the SignaLink USB interface. Receives well.

Using Pin 3 on the '751A for PTT, Pin 4 for Receive Output and Pin 5 for Mic
Amplifier Stage. Must I use Pin 9 for RTTY with this rig?

Suggestions?
