This Saturday is the semi-annual NA RTTY Sprint sponsored by the NCJ. It is
a 4-hour slice out of your weekend running from 00-04Z, Sunday, 11 March
(Saturday evening, NA time).
The Sprint format is ideal for honing one's operating skill! If you feel
intimidated by the format, consider only CQing for a while. Due to the QSY
rule, you will have to move at least 5 kHz before sending a CQ for your next
QSO. However, by only CQing, you can control the pace and select one of the
stations that calls you. Once you're comfortable with that, you can try
calling other CQing stations.

Teams are composed of any ten single-ops. They don't have to be members of
a single club. Register teams prior to the start of the contest at
http://www.ncjweb.com/rttysprintteamreg.php
Upload your log at http://www.ncjweb.com/sprintlogsubmit.php Remember the
log deadline is just 7 days after the Sprint, or 18 March. Preliminary
results will be posted on the NCJ website by 20 March and final results will
be published in the Jul-Aug issue of the NCJ.
