There have been some DX'peditions on.
The DX station usually calls, then listens up a few KC. If you tune down
from where you hear all the activity, you can probably hear the DX station.
They operate split so that they don't call on top of the DX. 73

Hello!
I noticed a lot of rtty activity on 20 meters this week. Operators just
sending their call 3 times over and over. Is this a contest? I looked online
and can't find a contest This week. I'm very new at rtty but aren't contests
usually on weekends?
