hello am new to this group and often times read when I can the info
here. I just purchased a new yaesu FT857d and plan to operate in
January on RTTY and PSK31,JT65HF when I get back to my home in the
Philippines.

I work alot of dx on the other side of the world as well, and when I
worked a few pile ups on 6m a few years back it was pretty difficult
to pick out some calls, many I did work was the ones who threw there
calls at the end of the pile. Unfortunately many tried to walk over
the ones I was replying to. But I kept at it until the band closed
out,or had to leave for a meal or c/r run.

Am still learning from the group here and hope the yaesu ft857d or my
other rig the icom706mk2 works good for me.
