Soapbox:
I'm disappointed in this effort. It started slow and stayed slow. Hardly any
good runs at all - best ones were on 40M, but very limited. 80M was VERY
difficult and many just CQ'ed in my face. 10M just didn't show up and 15M
barely did. I used three different antennas on 20M but I never could get
untracked.
Also 'Log then Pop' was not working although you barely ever needed it. Then
along came Ed W0YK coming back to my CQ on 40M. In N1MM you click on the
name and click on the state to enter into those fields. Ed came back ED
CA!@$#@#%#@%#. Now if you try to click that CA, it will enter the entire
string. Also if you miss the click on ED you can end up with that string in
the name field ! ARrrrgh ! Both happened in a Perfect Storm and N1MM won't
let you send a response until it's right. So there was this 'pregnant pause'
as I was delaying 'The Master' - how embarrassing !
Ah well, there is always next time ! J
