Hi Don

Something to add:

The DSP is better/more powerful in the later Icom versions 7600 & 7700.

Overall I think the 7600 is a step up, not back, over the proIII.

Now that the question of the TPF has been settled.

It becomes a question of cost and only you can decide that.

Someone just asked the same basic question about the TPF eHam review on the 
7600 users group.

Might be interesting how that plays out

Adam Farson is Mr Icom.
