What name and state were you sending?
One year I thought I would be cute and send Toto as my name since my state is
Kansas.
Unfortunately Toto can show up as 5959 if received as a figure characters which
seemed to happen alot. I was asked for a ton of repeats that year and never
went back to using that as a name.

In the NAQP, I started out with "name name state state"
I got so many requests for my state so I made it
"name name name state state state"
Every QSO was virtually guaranteed to ask me
for my state again.
After about 20 Q's, I finally switched to
"name state name state name state"
I NEVER had a single state request again in
another 100+ Q's. (I expect I could have
backed down to "name state name state")
