I hated that FL. and the NAME-ST-NAME-ST responses that I had to parse.
I also received a few of:
HELLO (SUSAN) AT (K5DU) MY NAME IS NNN AND MY QTH IS sssss GL IN TEST 73
responses.
and one person was giving out sequence numbers. Didn't he realize that no
one was giving him a number?
But long ago someone in a CW DX contest took the time to send, "this is a dx
only contest i will send you a note about how to do it 73" and did send me
information about how to respond. One way to encourage people to contest is
to gently teach them how to do it.
