Interestingly, I'd made an RTTY contact with them just three minutes
before you did on the same 22 Feb UTC date. I just did a log search
at their web site and my contact does show up.
If you still have a hardcopy of the contact, take a look around your
own contact and see if those other guys are in the K5D log. You
might find my call sign within a dozen contacts before yours.
If they are, you could try different variations of characters of your
call sign -- timing errors of mechanical teletypes could lead to
errors in the most significant bit of a Baudot encoding of a
character. Most significant bits are transmitted furthest away from
the start bit and are more prone to timing errors.
