Although I have not used the PC Programs extensively, the best RTTY
setup here was CocoaModem fed by a Timewave DSP-59+ and a borrowed M-
Audio sound interface. CocoaModem is pretty good with the Mac's
internal sound card, just fed with the audio from the receiver.
A good Analog to digital converter makes a big difference in any
software decoder. 16 bits is to few, 24 bits is probably overkill, but
reasonaly priced due to the wide availability of consumer audio CODECs.
By the way, CocoaModem also has a killer CW decoder app built in. -
