Hi all,

I actually modified my exchange buffer part way through the contest.
Part of the reason was that when I called CQ, I got a few stations that
accepted a report for someone else as theirs!
Like this:
CQ TEST GU0SUP GU0SUP CQ
      DE AB1CD AB1CD AB1CD DE UA1XXX UA1XXX UA1XXX
AB1CD TU 599 001 001 001 GU0SUP
DE UA1XXX TU 023 023 023

So, I changed it to: AB1CD TU 599 001 001 001 AB1CD DE GU0SUP
I know this is a bit longwinded, but it really was necessary.
And even then, I had a few that called and just sent TU 599 001 001 001 BK.

And why were so many folk asking for repeats of the number from me, and then
sending their number (or State!) only once!
When conditions are poor, as they have been for the past year now, sending
the vital part of the exchange just once, or even twice, is not enough.
Also, please try and leave out the confusing stuff! I had this from one W:
GU0SUP GA 599 AR KKKKKK
Now, was he in GA, and just sent AR at the end of his Tx, or was he in AR
and sending "G"ood "A"fternoon, as so many EU stations were?? He was
actually AR, as I checked after the contest, and that was what I logged as
it came AFTER the 599.

Oh well, it's all good fun, isn't it?

HNY all, and vy 73

Phil GU0SUP
