The K3 identifies as a TS-570.  Either the K2 setting - 
or the general "Kenwood" setting (not TS-850) should 
work.  However, since the K2 did not use handshaking 
(unlike Kenwood), using the K2 setting would be a bit 
more flexible - and would allow CW/PTT to share one 
serial port with radio control if you need it.
