I have used the Alpha Delta antenna switches for many years. I have an Alpha
Delta-2 and Alpha Delta-4. I have never been aware of them getting warm or
hot. I like the neutral position that is disconnected from the antennas, and
that the switch is grounded. My two switches are over 20 years in service.

Subject: Re: [RTTY] MFJ Antenna Switches
Of course there is some "heat" from the relay coil.
It depends on "what" is getting warm.
The MFJ switches are clearly not rated for 1500W Rtty.
The published specs speak for themselves(2kw pep/1kw cw).
Ameritron switches are rated higher, spec wise, and are still reasonably
priced.
It also depends on what the antenna SWR is.
