Its been ok for CW worked Clipperton on 40,30, 20 and 15 meters. RTTY
propagation to my house has been spotty at best.
Couple of times during the middle of the day signals have been strong
here but no shortage of competing signals!. /so no QSOs yet.
Read they are shutting down at local sunrise on Saturday March 15th.
Weather has been rough on them down there.
Sure been learning how to operate the Sub-receiver on this FT-1000MP.
Have the split and dual operations down
pretty good now. Learning how to listen to and copy different ends of a
CW QSO in each ear in the Army many years ago finally
paid off!!
Having lots of fun and going to try and give RTTY one more shot tomorrow
morning as I am leaving town with the
XYL for a few days and will not be close to the HF rig...
73 to all and good luck on the DX.
