Likewise, I'd like to thank Ray and Shelby for the nice plaque received for the
team competition winner in the Feb. 2007 NAQP RTTY
contest.
It's a really cool looking clear plaque mounted on a stand. It's the W0ETC
Memorial plaque and that makes it even more special. I
didn't even know a plaque was awarded for the winners of the team competition.
Makes you want to give that extra for the team. As
fact, it did make me continue on in the July NAQP RTTY event when a severe
electrical storm shut down 40 meters for 90 minutes AFTER
I'd already taken my off time. I knew I had no chance at the individual win
but kept going for the team.

Thanks to Ray Novak at ICOM America, and Shelby K4WW, for the February 2007
NAQP RTTY M/2 plaque. Kudos to ICOM as it continues to
show its support for amateur radio contesting, and to Shelby for his leadership
of NAQP RTTY.
