Hi all,

I am having a problem with WSJT (JT65A), and although it is not RTTY, there
is a lot around.
I have WSJT and Spectran loaded, mainly so I can listen to some of the
modes, and an odd thing is happening.
I am not sure I really want to try JT65A, as it seems pointless on 20m, but
it might be fun to try it on 10m at the moment. Currently, most JT65A
contacts are EU to EU, but there is a 9V station on quite frequently too.

For all my digital modes, I use a Soundblaster card, leaving the on-board
AC97 card for the Windows noises.
This works fine with any digital mode.

However, when I run WSJT with Spectran, it decodes data via the AC97 card.

There is NO connection between the rig and the AC97 card at all, and if I
try to Tx, the sound comes out of the PC speakers attached to the AC97 card.
If I choose the Soundblaster, I get no copy on any signals at all.

It is almost as if the choice in Spectran is wrong.

I am not alone with this problem, and I am sure it is nothing set wrong in
my PC. I base this on the fact that all other digital modes work as
expected.

I have tried emailing the authors of Spectran, but they cannot help.

Has anyone else had any problems like this?
