According to the contest database at
<http://www.rtty-contest-scene.com/index1.html>,
there were 288 logs submitted in 2004 and 399 logs in 2005.

Here in the Eastern time zone, you can work 8 hours starting at 8 pm
Friday, take an 8 hour break, get on again for 8 hours from noon to 8 pm
Saturday followed immediately by 4 hours in the NA Sprint RTTY, take 4
hours rest, and get on again for the last 8 hour stretch from 4 am to noon
Sunday.

In broad outline, the scoring is pretty simple. Just add up the kilometer
distances for all your QSOs, except that QSOs on 40m count 1.5x and QSOs on
80m count 2x the actual distance. Distances are measured between the
centres of grid squares. If your logging software won't handle the scoring,
the log-checking software will do it.
