It is confusing. I don't know if this is correct but what I did was first
create new WAS account called AA5AU. I then created two rules - one for my
callsign AA5AU and one for my state Louisiana. I then saved these rules and
when I rechecked my totals, they were correct. I don't know if there is a way
to make it mode-specific or not, but it doesn't appear so. The 5BWAS award is
not mode-specific, but I would like to submit my 5BWAS all RTTY, but I think I
would have to select each QSO manually in order to do it that way. Besides, I
lack MT on 40 and AK on 80 for 5BWAS on RTTY. WAS is mode-specific and you can
submit for RTTY WAS when they start accepting submissions via LoTW.
Hope this helps. Maybe once I get a better understanding of it I can create a
tutorial.
HEY, GETTING A NEW ROOF TODAY!!! They're not finished yet but it's starting to
look pretty good.

Subject: [RTTY] RTTY WAS on LoTW help
Any one tell me how to make the WAS option on LoTW work? The "instructions"
insuffient for computer illiterate like me. Tried "adding"
etc and only got 16 states on RTTY - confident that is not accurate.
Tnx.
