This is very bad news. Larry seemed to be upbeat
during his illness and I find it surprising that he is
gone so soon. I never got bored with his health
updates to the reflector because I always wanted him
to get better and at times it seemed he was. One thing
that I will take to heart from Larry is his attitude
about living every day likes it's your last. He said
that is all his posts. You never know and that is so
true.
I never met the man personally but have worked him on
the air many, many times. He was a diehard RTTY
contester like myself. His passion for the mode is in
line with mine which makes this loss a bit personal.
I'll miss his signal and more importantly the man. My
condolences to his family and friends.
