Last year I spent FD in the hospital, at least this year I was at home.
Per typical, cranked up the generator to run 1-E. However due to storms
plus hot and humid weather I stayed in the cool shack to play. Storms
and other activities limited me to just over 3 hours of operating. A
total of 70 Qs all on RTTY with 44 sections and 2 DX stations. 68 Qs on
20 and 2 on 15.
Also, I heard a few RTTY stations working the UKR test so I quickly
create a log for it and worked all of 6 stations and 4 mults. Finally
today at 1756 while looking for FD stations I printed a garbled CQ which
ended with CYSS. My brain lugged in a 9 so I quickly switched to my DXLOG
module and the NE antenna. sure enough it was CY9SS and it was nice to
work him barefoot with portable power on 20. My first CY9 on RTTY.
