The Northern California Contest Club regularly organizes contest
practice sessions for other contests. These are good opportunities to
debug many setup issues before the real contest.
These RTTY practice sessions are useful to:
*Test your antennas before the contest
*Test RTTY interface and tweak sound card levels
*Verify your TX polarity is correct and your TX signal is free from RFI
*Test logging software, function key macros, MMTTY setup (do you really
want AFC or NET enabled?), and make sure you are calling "on frequency."
*Test SO2R setup
*Practice moving multipliers to other bands
