Although I choose not to participate, I did see the pre-contest post
regarding the rule change. I fail to see why contest sponsors choose to
change their rules, especially if/when the rule is changed without
sufficient time for the software authors to prepare their software update?
Participation depends on the participants having current and correct
software?
