I would assume that the W5G is un-elmered, find his address via the
online FCC database, give him a call, and provide some friendly advice.
I've done this sort of thing several times; the response is almost
always appreciative. I would not attempt this via email; it almost
always produces a defensive reaction.

Just listening to the VU2WAP pileup on 20m. He's working only EU but
several US stations calling, but one in particular W5G?? was a MAJOR
embarrassment to ham radio. He was keying on top of station and then
wouldn't unkey for several seconds after sending his call. He was
calling while the VU2 was transmitting. It was OBVIOUS that he couldn't
copy the station but that didn't stop him from trying to call. What
gives with these guys? senile?
