I operated from home down here near San Antonio, Texas. The only thing
missed was Vermont which is not unusual for down here. I heard some other folks around here arranged by telephone for a Vt station to come up so they got their clean-sweep. ARRL Roundup is a good contest to get all the states and vhf provinces no doubt. 73, Ed KS5V At 11:11 AM 7/22/2004, you wrote: I am new to RTTY contesting in the last year and I am having a ton of fun. I run a modest station with a vertical and wire antennas. I realize I will not be in the top ten in any contest, so I try other things to keep me going hard. During the last ARRL Roundup I decided my goal was to try and get WAS during the contest. All I missed was Alaska and Delaware, both of which I have contacted before in other RTTY tests. _______________________________________________ RTTY mailing list RTTY@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rtty |
