I was only able to make 35 contacts in the DL-DX contest due to lot's of local
lightning storms and allot of lightning QRN.
Of the 35 contacts 19 were on 20 meters and 16 were on 40 meters. Also of the
35 contacts 18 were from Europe or South America. I ran 400 watts to a 160-10
meter doublet up at 35 feet and found propagation to be pretty good here in
central Florida. I used the Hamscope v1.54 and the MMTY software.
Also as usual my fellow RTTY operators though competitive acted like gentlemen,
something usually sorely lacking in phone and CW contests.
