RTTY Contesters:
We are in the last stages of checking around 1,050 logs submitted for the
February 2004 CQ WPX RTTY Contest. This was another record-breaking contest
in terms of the number of logs submitted--and of course new World records
were set in several classes.
So far 17 plaques have these sponsors: WA6BOB, KK5OQ, K4GMH, N6DE, The
NN6NN RTTY Team, AC6JT, AA5AU, K9SZ, N6EE, W6XK, NH7C, The HC8N RTTY Team,
K6AW, W6DSQ, N5KO, W6OTC, CQ Magazine. Available plaques include all in the
M/S category, SOL Africa, SOH or SOL Europe, M/M and M2 other than World.
The cost is $55, payable to me at my CBA. I will order the plaques in May
and they should be mailed around the time the results are published in July.
The CQ publication deadline for submitting the results of this contest and
showing plaque sponsors and winners is the first week of May. If you want
to sponsor a plaque, please let me know via e-mail ASAP.
Overall mailing schedule: CQWW Plaques are in the mail; CQWW Certs go out
after Dayton; CQ WPX Plaques go out in July, immediately followed by CQ WPX
Certs.
