Brand new setup for me at the station as I retired my FT-990's and now using
FT-1000D and FT-920. First I had the wrong contest selected and couldn't
figure out what was wrong. After logging about 100 contacts I lost them in
trying to put them in the correct contest module. Then I couldn't get the
FT-1000D out of reverse and that cost me about an hour.
So all and said and done I was able to get the new radios running properly and
made 405 contacts, it is not what I had hoped for but under the circumstance it
all worked out. I thank all the TCGers and everyone else who worked me and if
I seemed out of sorts, I WAS!
