During a recent contest, a guy called me and WL told me he was a dupe. I
went ahead and worked him and was shocked that he gave me serial nr 002.
Repeat - 002. I checked back in my log and sure enough, he had given me 001
an hour before. I was the ONLY guy he had worked. Hi. I have had many guys call me several times. No dupe-checking contest software, I presume. I wish these contest organizers would all adopt the cabrillo system. Looks like cabrillo solves a lot of problems, both for them and for us as well. This dupe thing, for one. I have the feeling the guys that call multiple times are not submitting logs anyway and are just trying to help the cause as it were... _______________________________________________ RTTY mailing list RTTY@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/rtty |
