QTCs are one of the reasons I enjoy working the WAE in all 3 forms.
Otherwise it would be just another 599 serial number exchange contest. I
would get very bored of working many different contests all of which have
the same format. In my opinion QTCs show a very creative way of adding
interest to what would be a dull contest especially in SSB and CW where you
can only work Europe. Their use of QTCs is something like the SS use of a
message format but implemented in a wholly different way. Using a QTC
functional program such as Writelog makes the transcibing part of the
exchange easier and thus you can concentrate on accuracy.
