Well, I did wonder about trying it on, seeing as they were going UP UP, and
you never know! It could just be that they heard us, and wanted a full
call??? Yeah! I wish!
And Jim, it definitely looked like VP6DIA to me, as I caught VP first time,
then DIA a little after that.
If the HH4 boys were on frequency as well, then that would have accounted
for the pile-up!
I should have mentioned that the frequency I was monitoring was 21.078.5 and
callers were on that frequency calling for VP6DIA, so that was what I was
watching for.
A bit further up the band was VE3ORD with a huge signal, chatting to a South
American station!
I didn't see any obvious sign of the HH4's, but perhaps that was what I
actually saw, and the pile-ups were getting folk confused?
Ah well, I stand a better chance a bit later in the week, when all the BIG
BOYS have had their fill!
I am sure that if Doug sees as much as SUP or GU0, he will give me a shout!
I was also pleased to see 15 in such good shape at that hour!
