I have it on rather good authority that we are not having a SO2R discussion
this year (whew)! But it does sound like the plans are being made for a
forumn (not by me).
Room and dinner reservations are starting to trickle in so don't forget to
find those cheap flights, visit the RTTY Journal Page and sign up for rooms
and the Saturday night RTTY Dinner.

Click on the big Dayton Box. Fill in the forms and mail 'em in. BTW if
anyone talks to Glenn W6OTC and can find out about plaque and stuff for CQWW
and WPX it would be appreciated. I haven't heard from him as of yet. He may
be busy, I dunno.
We have tenatitively lined up a major DXpedition program for the same
Saturday evening. Hope that all turns out well.
We already have some ideas and commitments for door prizes for the dinner
and if anyone has any further ideas drop me a note at my RTTY Journal email
address.
I don't read any mail sent to this account, just the RTTY reflector! Too
many accounts and too many things going on so I have had to seperate my
email's just to keep track.
Wish I could work in a contest with Ron instead of some of this stuff, at
times it sure is a lot more fun! BARTG sounded like pretty good activity
for the few minutes I was able to fire up.
BTW, an aside, but just finished up a Opto interface to FSK my MMTTY setup
and found that 4n35's seem to take almost no dropping resistor to work with
my Yaesu FT-1000. 100 ohm worked but not much higher. Guess I need to
check the spec's on 4N35's as other opto's in the past have worked with up
to 2K resistors. Got to protect these fancy computers and have now replaced
all of my 2n2222 circuits.
Hope to see everyone in Dayton -- May 2003
