Hi all,
Well, that was fun! And the best bit was I worked a new country - OA and not
just once, but on TWO bands as well! My sincere thanks to OA4AHW for that
feat, and a card will be sent direct!
I had a few problems this time, and I am not sure why! OK, the computer
didn't like me playing on 80m very much, and that wasn't too much of a
surprise.
The real problem was that the computer kept telling me it was low on
resources (I know, get XP!), and I only had WL running!
Every now and again, the highlighting would stop, and if I didn't do a
re-boot then, it froze on me.
I have a few ideas, and will do a full Norton check in the week, just to see
if it shows up any problems.
Does anyone know the easiest way to create a "single band" entry within
Writelog (as per rules) as I fancy entering 15m as a single band.
Highlights:
Well, the OA for sure, but the rest was just the usual fun.
Lowlights:
Missing Dick SV9/G3URA was one, and not getting K6RLL either. I didn't see
any W7's, and W8 was pretty rare here as well. 10m was pretty quiet, and I
did a lot of band hopping to make the most of it. Even 15 and 20 seemed
quite noisy here.
Here is my effort:
