All,
While I missed working 3XY8A due to travel, I share his
new found passion for the mode and participants. It is
refreshing to hear these positive comments that
reinforce the good practices and character of RTTY
operators. I found this true a few years ago when I
first started; it is a pleasure to hear evidence that
the "spirit" of RTTY continues. I look forward to
working 3XY at some point in the future. As Shelby,
K4WW, has often remarked: it is up to all of us to
educate, by words and deeds, good operating practices in
our radio associations as well as our own on-the-air
style. We are much more than a "frill"!!
73 and thanks to Don and Randy for sharing the info
