On the contrary, if you use "-" throughout, there is only ONE shift character.
Therefore if you miss it, EVERYTHING will be in text.
(missing shift) 599-345 => TOOAERT
If you " " space instead, you get multiple chances to see numeric characters
after a shift character. This should IMPROVE readability.
(missing shift) 599 (space/shift) 345 => TOO 345
