Comments:

Great contest! TX/RX'ing QTC's is an enjoyable change of pace from other

events.
I had trouble with my TNC both TX/RX in the QTC mode. Slowed me down a
bit. I wish my DXP38/Wrtielog combination would have worked better for
TX/RX. I had to send out 2 at a time then hit ESC (hang up) and send
the next 2 QTC's.

On RX when hitting the QSL? box it would send Ready. What's up with
that? Really slow me down. I had to go manual to acknowledge. It may be
a cliché with the WL/38 combo.

Another peculiar thing happened to. When QSY'ing from 10 to 15 meters
all calls printed were YELLOW on 15M only. I said what the hell????
Scary, because they were all in the log. I had to shut down and reboot,
Then all was fine. WHEW!

I guess I quit to early on Saturday night but I just got plain tried. I
guess I just can't keep long hours any more Hi. I got turned down by
many stations for QTC traffic. A couple stations told me they didn't how
to run the software.

I ran one radio and no packet cluster and 400 watts. Again NO 80M Q's.
We need and 80 meter RTTY activity hour each night during the contest. I
was close to Don (AA5AU) in Q's but my QTC traffic handling needs
repair.

See ya in the next one.

Wayne
