This was my first WAEDC contest. I found it fun and frustrating. I was =
only able to put in a few hours due to too many other commitments. =
Thanks to Phil, GU0SUP, for his help, I was able to try my hand at S/R =
QTC's. My biggest problem was forgetting to keep a call sign in the =
field. It was great for 9G1UW to answer my CQ and give me "001." A =
thank you to LY8M for hanging in with me. My computer screen went black =
while receiving his QTC. I had to re-start the computer and open the =
contest file. LY8M was still there calling CQ. I called and told him =
what happened. He graciously re-sent the QTC. I am not sure I received =
QTC's correctly, but I did try. Maybe next year I will do better.
