Last night's aurora was easily visible from Southern California. Didn't see any of the wavering curtains which are sometimes present, just a red glow to the north. Pretty impressive anyway. I'm only about 150 miles north of the Mexican border and auroras visible this far south are quite rare. It was visible between 8:30-9:00pm local time, and by 10:30pm it was gone. Tnx, Mother Nature.
