John,

do you want to remove the oxidation? Don't do it; it's very normal and the
best protection for your antenna. If you want to do all the work; OK do it,
but sooner or later the antenna will look like today. ;-) The only think
you might do, is to clean up all this little portions, where things are
connected together. Look on screws, etc.. For cleaning this portions, don't
use any type of chemicals; just the classic tools! Sorry, don't know the
correct english words for it, we call it "Sandpapier" and "Drahtbuerste"
in Ole-Germany, in up-over. :-o
