Had a lot going on Saturday and couldn't motivate myself to do a full
10-hour effort. Finally sat down around 2100UTC to get the rig hooked back
up after Field Day (yeah, I've been busy) - decided to rig up a cable for
doing FSK and soundcard through WriteLog - wound up spending almost 2 hours
getting that to work. Had RF in the cable and computer (first time ever for
that). Finally got started and worked a little here and there, but only
3:45 total time.
Biggest Oops! : Was calling CQ on the radio computer and reading e-mail on
the other, and got so busy that I forgot to resume a CQ after working one
station. About 3 or 4 minutes went by and KI6DY popped up exactly on
frequency and start CQing (no, he didn't *steal* my freq. I was effectively
long gone by then...) What is RTTY contesting coming to when one can't
spend most of his time doing non-RTTY things during the contest... ;-)
