In my opinion, 3830 is not the right answer. I have been subscribed
to 3830 for a year or more. To me it is too cold and sanitized.
There is almost never any replies to the postings. It makes me
wonder how many actual get read? As they are delivered to me they
are automatically put in a separate folder. Since January, I see 3200+
that are unread.

The RTTY culture has been much different. I personally look forward to
the soapbox included with the scores. Many of these start threads
directly related to what we are interested in. The RTTY community
is a much smaller group. Too push the scores and soapbox into the
sea of 3830 would essentially shutdown much of the free and open
discussion and banter found in the RTTY community.

My first vote is to allow the score and soapbox posting on the
RTTY reflector. My second vote is to set up another reflector
that allows score and soapbox posting. I am totally against trying
to force the RTTY contest community into using 3830. 3830 contains
too many postings that are of no interest to the average RTTY
contestor.
