At 22Z Oct. 15, I'm hearing very broadband RFI on 10 meters, nearly 30
dB above my usual urban noise level. It's not rain static, and it peaks
at about 345 degrees. There's no QSB, so I'm sure it's local. I see
almost no variation in amplitude over a 368 kHz bandwidth, and it looks
and sounds totally random. There don't appear to be any 60 or 120 Hz
components. It's not quite as strong on 15m. If it persists, I'll try
to track it down. Any idea what kind of source could cause this kind of RFI?
