All:
I was able to take a close look at my neighbors solar panel installation
with the panels removed and found that the cables that feed the panels
were fed straight through the ferrite clamp-ons without ANY turns around
the core. Most of that cabling was not twisted around itself either.
The lack of cable turns around each ferrite core has to be reason why
the suppression had little effect on the RFI the system produces. I also
found the ferrite they used on the installation and there appeared to be
2 dozen large and small clamp-ons for 28 solar panels.
The installers are scheduled to be here today (July 17th) so I'll have a
chance to speak with them and watch how they reinstall the system.
I was going to attach the pictures I took, but I don't believe this
reflector accepts attachments?
If anyone is interested, I can send them direct.
