SolarEdge is allegedly requiring customers to pay out of pocket to replace
older modems in their inverters or else lose out on important features. With
3G networks shutting down, many companies stand accused of having knowingly
used soon-to-be obsolete, cheaper tech to cut corners and leave their
customers holding the bag. A successful lawsuit could provide refunds and
force SolarEdge to offer a fix.
