Hello Jim:
An update on the LED RFI from the K3LR neighbor.
W3YQ and I built the choke system as shown in your cookbook. It was
installed on Saturday in a plastic box. It knocked down the RFI noise by
50%.
Better performance might be had with a larger box that would allow the input
and output of the filter to be wider spaced.
That being said, I still want to discover a similar light, with similar
lighting specifications that is RFI quiet - out of the box.
My neighbor will allow the light to be replaced - but it has to be as
bright.

Probably yes. I'd start with the filter that W6GJB and I worked out for
use on 2000i generators, described on page 23 of k9yc.com/RFI-Ham.pdf It
was added to the ARRL Handbook a year or two ago.
Note that it's critical that all three conductors go through the choke,
and they should NOT be twisted.
