Hi RFI experts,
I am considering adding backup power for my house by having a Tesla
Powerwall battery system installed. This will not be installed with
SolarEdge equipment of any kind (their RFI generating optimizers or
inverter). I currently have a solar system with LG panels on the roof and a
Fronius inverter on the ground. This system has zero RFI. I don't want to
introduce anything at my house that causes RFI.
I know there are many systems with Tesla batteries combined with SolarEdge
solar components that generate RFI out to amateur stations 1000 feet and
beyond. However, I wonder if all that RFI is only due to the SolarEdge
components.
My question to this group is if anyone is familiar with the RFI produced by
a Tesla Powerwall system combined with a solar system other than SolarEdge?
I am very interested in the RFI experience (good or bad) amateurs have had
with Tesla Powerwall components.
Thanks,
Randy KQ6RS
